The concept for the piece was to give viewers a taste of the style and story of the novel to inspire them to buy and read it. Director/Producer Richard Bailey worked with the author to plan out vignettes that would support the goal. Book trailers are a great tool for boosting interest in a book! Book trailer veteran Bailey worked with Ceridwen Productions’ cinematographer Douglas Bischoff and production designer Wendy Potter to shoot the vignettes over a few days.
